MAGIC SEAS hail from Chelmsford, Essex and are comprised of brothers James and John Prudence. They make lush, resplendent dream pop that draws on the likes of Galaxie 500, Beach House, The War On Drugs, Felt, Cocteau Twins, The Byrds, Echo And The Bunnymen, Robyn Hitchcock, Delays and Slowdive.
Having released their debut LP PAINT THE WAVES in 2022, on their forthcoming second album EVERYTHING HAS LED ME TO HERE they give their shimmering dream pop a nocturnal twist. This full-length aims to further explore a sense of space and wonder, mixing west-coast influenced harmonies with reverb-drenched, C86-esque 12-string guitars. ‘A Constellation I’ is the lead single from EVERYTHING HAS LED ME TO HERE.
This new album was again recorded with RIDE frontman Mark Gardener, who upon hearing the band’s first demo has been producing them at his OX4 Sound studio in Oxford.
